December 10, 2024

Since its inception, Seeq has been committed to delivering customer value by fostering innovations that make a meaningful societal impact, including improving environmental sustainability, workforce development, and workplace safety in manufacturing. By leveraging its global partner network of cloud service providers and system integrators, Seeq enables more customers to scale, empower, and maximize access to data to solve operational challenges and accelerate digital transformation outcomes to address these key societal issues.

Recognition from these partners validates Seeq’s advanced analytics, AI, and monitoring leadership and dedication to driving customer value through innovation.

Seeq receives new Microsoft Software Designations

Seeq recently received two Microsoft Designations–Certified Software for Azure and Certified Software for Manufacturing AI. The Microsoft Solution and Industry AI Designation Program showcases top partners who demonstrate ongoing success delivering outcomes for customers in specific Microsoft Cloud solutions and industry specific areas.

  • Certified Software for Azure: This designation validates Seeq’s architecture of critical workloads hosted SaaS on Azure and ensures Seeq’s readiness for customer scale, global availability, and reliability. Seeq SaaS on Azure enables customers quick access to new capabilities within Seeq and secure connectivity to cloud services like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Explorer, and Azure Databricks.
  • Certified Software for Manufacturing AI: This designation represents the accelerated AI growth between Seeq and Microsoft for joint industrial customers. The Seeq AI Assistant, leveraging Azure OpenAI, accelerates analytics and monitoring adoption and scales user domain expertise across the enterprise. The Seeq AI Assistant is automatically configured to guide users across the full spectrum of process analytics and monitoring workloads accomplished in Seeq. A majority of Seeq customers have adopted the AI Assistant, experiencing 10-20% increases in user engagement and reporting 2-50x faster task completion.

“Microsoft’s partnership with Seeq creates immense value for our shared customers by simplifying the process for organizations to democratize advanced analytics and AI capabilities, ultimately enhancing decision speed and accuracy,” said Simon Floyd, General Manager for Manufacturing & Mobility, Americas at Microsoft. “When scaled across an organization, this leads to enterprise-scale improvements that significantly elevate efficiency.”

Seeq accelerates insights with GenAI

With the integration of AI-driven insights, Seeq is enabling real-time, scalable decision-making. In February 2024, Seeq launched the Seeq AI Assistant to address the growing need for manufacturers to bridge skills gaps as experienced employees retire and new digital tools become critical for future workforce retention.

The AI Assistant has transformed the way manufacturing organizations leverage AI and data to enhance operational efficiency, accelerate sustainability efforts, and retain critical workforce knowledge. By democratizing advanced analytics and AI, Seeq has empowered thousands of process experts to achieve results faster and more effectively, driving millions in savings and contributing to long-term goals in pursuit of operational excellence, sustainability, and workforce empowerment.

British Sugar leverages the Seeq AI Assistant to address workforce challenges
British Sugar, a food and beverage processor, reported that the AI Assistant is helping the company manage challenges with workforce skills gaps and loss of corporate knowledge as senior subject matter experts retire. It currently requires ten years to fully skill some of the technical experts at British Sugar. With the AI Assistant, they are forecasting to dramatically increase the efficiency of their technical teams and cut the time to skill an expert by half.
