James D. Long

Jim Long is the Interim CFO at Seeq, responsible for leading finance operations by driving financial accounting and reporting, business strategy, and implementing best practice process improvements. 

Prior to joining Seeq, Long has served for decades in pivotal financial leadership roles (as CFO or Interim CFO) for a wide variety of $20-300 M private equity-backed companies across the healthcare, edtech, and SAAS technology landscapes.  He has worked with over 35 PEGs to professionalize financial functions for portfolio companies and bring them up to PEG expectations while often transitioning to an incoming permanent CFO.  

Jim Long holds a B.A. in Latin American Economics and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
